- DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Instacart deliver from every grocery store, drugstore, and liquor store in town. Groceries, sundries, spirits, diapers, medicine, restaurant meals — anything you can think of, usually within an hour.
- Local shop-and-stock concierge services handle the whole trip for you — groceries, alcohol, snacks, and even fridge/pantry stocking before you arrive. Nashville options include Nashville Grocery Gals, Little Ms. Runaround, and Nashville Delivers. Great arrival-day move for larger groups or bachelorette-style trips where you want a fully stocked kitchen and bar without lifting a finger.

Do the rentals have full kitchens and laundry?
Yes. Every Music City Magnolia home has a full kitchen (real fridge, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, cookware) and in-unit washer + dryer. That’s not the case for most Nashville short-term rentals — many Broadway-adjacent condos have kitchenettes and no laundry — so it’s worth verifying anywhere else you’re considering.
How does parking work? Is it included?
Every MCM home has off-street parking included in the nightly rate. Most have driveway parking for multiple cars; Cumberland Retreat has gated parking for 4 cars. Compare that to Broadway condo towers, which typically charge $35–$50 per night for garage parking on top of the room.

Cumberland Retreat and Southern Charm both sleep 12 in 4 real bedrooms with 2 full + 1 half baths — the two largest single homes in the portfolio. Cumberland has the biggest layout (chef’s kitchen, gated parking for 4 cars, two balconies), and it’s in a quiet East Bank residential pocket. Southern Charm is closer to walkable downtown attractions. Both are the right pick for grandparents plus kids plus in-laws. Are there cribs, high chairs, or baby gear available?
We can typically arrange a Pack ’n Play, high chair, or full baby-gear delivery through BabyQuip in Nashville when you book. Let us know at booking (or right after) how old your kids are and we’ll coordinate. Some homes have Pack ’n Plays on site — ask before booking if it matters.
Which home is closest to the Nashville Zoo, Adventure Science Center, and Cheekwood?
Magnolia in Crieve Hall is closest to all three (12–15 minutes to the Zoo, 12 minutes to Adventure Science Center, 15 minutes to Cheekwood). Wisteria 12South and Bluebird in 12South are next-closest (about 12–15 minutes to each). If the kid-attraction triangle is the point of the trip, Magnolia is the pick.

Dreamwood in Donelson / Music Valley is 5 minutes from all three, plus it’s the closest MCM home to BNA airport. Is Broadway family-friendly?
Yes — more than most people expect, if you time it right. Nearly every honky-tonk on Broadway is all-ages until a cutoff hour, then flips to 21+ later in the evening. Cutoffs vary by venue and by day, but the general rule of thumb is that daytime through early evening (roughly opening until 6–9 p.m., earlier on weekend nights) is family-friendly, with kids welcome as long as they’re with a parent. After the cutoff, IDs are checked at the door and under-21s can’t come in. Some venues stay all-ages later than others — check individual venue policies before you go, and note that hours can shift on big event weekends (CMA Fest, Titans/Predators game days, NYE).
Broadway-adjacent venues that are all-ages all the time and great for families:
- Acme Feed & Seed — three floors of food, live music, and a rooftop with skyline views. All-ages all day, every day. Kids’ menu, brunch, and one of the most family-friendly Broadway experiences.
- Assembly Food Hall (Fifth + Broadway) — 30+ food vendors, live music stages, and rooftop bar. All-ages, easy for picky-eater groups.
- Johnny Cash Museum, Patsy Cline Museum, and the Country Music Hall of Fame — all a short walk from Broadway, all family-friendly, all worth an afternoon.
- Daytime honky-tonks — walk in, listen to a band for a couple of songs, walk out. It’s free (tip the band), and the neon-and-music vibe is what most kids remember.
What to skip with kids: Broadway after dark, especially Thursday–Saturday. The strip fills with bachelorette parties and pedal taverns, sidewalks get packed, and the vibe is 21+ even where the door policy isn’t yet. Nashville is a large, growing city — the residential neighborhoods our homes are in (Crieve Hall, Hope Gardens, 12South, Germantown, East Nashville · 5 Points, Donelson, East Bank) are safe, walkable, and family-normal. Standard city common sense applies. Lower Broadway on a weekend night is not where you want to walk with young kids after 10 p.m. — but you don’t need to be there for a family trip.
